Having been raised in the big (windy) city I became deeply impressed with real farms while at Summer Camp (as of '63) in Southern Wisconsin! I loved the occasional visits when bringing slop buckets from the camp kitchen! My big city Exodus to California finally came in '78 and probably the next day I "discovered" raw kefir (then produced by Alta Dena)! The biggest advent for me came when I met Sally Fallon in 1999 (and then prepared a Sunday buffet for the first board and family members of the Weston A. Price Foundation). Soon after I returned home Organic Pastures Dairy began sending raw butter up to Northern California! It seems like I had been waiting my whole life for that day! I agree with Sally Fallon: butter is a health food! (I was finally validated after years of protest by some of my original family members!) I have a craving for butter that goes back to when I was old enough to begin licking it off the wrapper! I'm not about to give up my butter now! Butter is best! Ask a real chef!
