Brooklyn native, Alex Montanez has been performing throughout the tri-state area since early 2008. Known for his gift of interpretation, he's made an impact on New York City's acoustic scene, covering bands such as Incubus, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Smashing Pumpkins, and many more. His singer/songwriter presence, mixed with his love for alternative rock, has turned many small time cafe's into "karaoke halls" during his performances, as many of the songs he plays are well known radio hits. He is currently in the studio recording his debut EP which is set to be released in March 2011. Alex is also the frontman of Incubus tribute band "Morning View" based out of New York.
