Welcome to my channel thankyou for stopping by (: This is a compilation of all any music I feel like recording, from Disney to Mozart :P I play Clarinet, Saxophone, Piano and Cello. I also /own/ a lap harp but as you'll see if you find the video of my lap harp, I don't practice it that often. It's just like a plucked piano rotated on its side really.
The instrument models and brands I play on are as follows:
Clarinet - Yamaha CLCX. Had this since december 2008 and I love it. Cost me around £700-800 through my local music service but the most expensive places sell them for like £1500. My previous instrument was a plastic buffet crampon which was at the time around £200-300 although I was 9 so that could be wrong (the price didn't really bother me) but you can probably get them somewhere cheaper. Very good standard beginner model. I also borrow an A clarinet from my music service for use in orchestra (although I've never used it for that purpose) which is a Boosey and Hawkes Edgeware and looks, sounds and feels vair shmexy. However, it's been in a damp celler (sp?) for most of it's life so the corks have all swollen up.
My reed strength currently for this instrument (which is my main study) is 4, Vandoren model (ofcourse! :P)
Tenor saxophone - Elkharl. Not sure which version but...well they're cheap, but they seem to break easily so be careful. I borrowed this from my local music service. Reed strength is 2, but again, I only use this for band needs so I would have bothered buying a stronger reed but I always forget.
Soprano saxophone - again elkarl. Doesn't give the best tone quality, to be honest. Cost me around £400-500 but subsequently got it repaired as the lower keys (C onwards) didn't seem to do much. Reed strength is currently 2, vandoren, however I only haven't moved up a strength because I never use it since I stopped having lessons.
After a few months of playing I kinda made two grooves in the mouthpiece with my teeth, so I bought a Selmer paris mouthpiece which is size 4c...but I alternate between the two because I've bitten the rubber off partially and it looks disgusting.
Cello - Stentor, some kind of student model :P You've never seen this so I doubt you're interested! But it cost £299, again through my local music service. Have no idea what strings I'm using, intending on buying some special ones soon, who knows I might get a set for my birthday.
