Put in a 150 horse motor, vg's and wing tips. Shed a little weight and a 150 Cessna becomes pretty spicy. I flew a 180 C-150 towing gliders for a while and it would get off very quickly.

It seemed that your takeoff roll was short, so I wondered. I've been looking for a 170A or a 172 square tail tw. Noce to know you can get good t/o performance with just a prop.
