i am a film director based in london and stockholm.

i direct commercials, virals, short film and hopefully features soon.

my love of films comes from growing up during the lebanese civil war. when bombs would be raining outside our home, we'd be sitting inside watching films. hollywood films, bollywood films, turkish films (which for some reason were banned) and arabic films (which back then were synonymous with egyptian films).

we fled to sweden. here i watched the films i had missed: european films, scandinavian films, independent and arthouse films.

i studied practical filmmaking at stockholm film school and film theory and history at stockholm university. i moved to london to study fiction direction at the national film & television school where I was taught by stephen frears.
