The Honour Guard is also the title of the highest possible Elite Rank, the character of the arbiter was once an honour guard himself, but his failure to stop the unsc meant he had failed his masters and was then sentenced to become an arbiter, who are sent on suicide missions to reclaim glory in death

"Honor Guard" is just a name I use to describe the course design style, although it isn't a clan I do often play halo with the character's real life equivalents.
