Just to clear the air, I am not an atheist. Well, I don't believe in deities so I guess I might qualify by default, but according to Dawkins I would be a sexed-up atheist. Yes, I'm a pantheist, Taoist more specifically. However, this is not a positive claim about the physical world, nor do I propose that everyone ought to have similar beliefs. I advocate a secularist position in all public (ie funded by my tax dollars) institutions, and support science as the arbiter of knowledge on all physical systems. I consider my belief falsifiable and am more than willing to capitulate should such falsification occur.
