Cecilia Luce realizes that music is the art that best expresses her being at the age of twelve, when she begins to compose her first songs. From here she undertakes academic studies that have made her increasingly aware of her talents.
She enrols at the Music High School and studies recorder flute at the Milan Conservatory; obtains a First Degree with Honours in 2009 and devotes herself, at the same time, to the study of vocals at the Jazz Civic Courses in Milan.
In the summers she attends master classes, precious moments of musical inner growth and, as well as social knowledge, both for classical and jazz fields, during which she studies along with internationally renowned artists, such as: Dan Laurin, Barthold Kuijken, KeesBoeke, Donna McElroy, Michael Hendricks and Dennis Montgomery III.
She begins performing in various groups for numerous music festivals at the age of 15. Modern music with a duo: guitar & vocals, piano & vocals; Ancient music, from duo to orchestra. In 2009, she had the opportunity to play for a live audience during an episode of a radio show for an Italian National Channel, Radio 3, in Piazza Verdi in Milan and to participate in 2008 as supernumerary in several episodes on the Italian television sitcom "Pilots".
A meeting in 2008 that left a mark in the career of Cecilia was that with the great pianist and composer Giorgio Gaslini. He decided to combine two music features in a collection of 5 songs from the Renaissance era with a modern twist and called it the "Suite Elisabettiana".
Cecilia plays the classical flute and sings accompanied on piano by Giorgio Gaslini, who decides to give her the stage name Cécille Cely. The recorded songs have been published in a CD: "Sinfonico3, Ed. Velut Moon, 2010".
2009 is the year of change. Upon graduation, she began to teach modern singing at the School of Music of his native village and to direct the High School Vocal Ensemble. This work experience, still ongoing, will help her to improve herself and understand the huge potential of emotional and musical experiences. But the meeting with Maurizio Rossi, in art "Mr.Broderick" and Albert Keyn, MD of Kennvad Publishing Limited, the up and coming label, will enable her to take up again her first arrangements and start anew her career of singer and songwriter.
At Albert Keyn's Sevenstudio she has the opportunity to learn a new reality, Tranceforlife, and a new musical genre, Trance. The electronic sounds combined with the harmonic progressions typical of early baroque music, create a special and new emotional blend for Luce, which stimulates and inspires her to write new compositions.
It is here that Silent Angels (Albert Keyn, featuring Cecilia), the first trance song sung and written by Cecilia, with text by Aronnne Carminati, presented on the occasion of the event "Trance in Black" of 21st February 2010. An event organized by Tranceforlife that saw the official debut of the singer in the trance genre.
At Kennvad Publishing, the artist is part of a big family. Besides the musical understanding she perceives a spiritual similarity that binds her to the members of Kennvad, to the point of writing, in the summer of 2010, "Brother's Signs", dedicated to the sudden disappearance of Albert's elder brother. The song was released under licence by Black Hole BV in March of 2011 and, in the same month, presented to the public during the "Renaissance Festival" where Luce performs it alongside Albert Keyn.
In a very short time the song reaches the third place in the sales charts for trance tracks on the famous site "junodownload.com" in UK and second place on "djdownload.com".
With the help and cooperation of Maurizio Rossi she learns life in a recording studio and composes several songs in which she gives free rein to her creativity. The songs are arranged by Maurizio Rossi, following the original idea of Luce, but with electronic influences typical Kennvad Production. During summer 2010, the Kennvad decides to launch the Luce project, dedicated to her compositions, by collecting them in her first album.
Besides her unbound interest in music, Cecilia Luce loves nature and harbours a deep respect for it and for all living beings. She lives in the countryside in a close relationship with Mother Earth that has allowed her to live and grow, thanks also to education handed down by her parents, without the many constraints of today's modern society. She spends her time reading (in particular poetry, songs, stories, and testimonials on spirituality), swimming and with people she loves.
