  @MrKmacs I remember when my pin was in my finger that it was nearly impossible for me to bend the pin from the force of the muscles in my finger alone. You could find out if you bent your pin from an x-ray.

  @LoveyaMaggs The surgery does not hurt because I was under general anesthesia. When I had the pins removed a few months later, they gave me local anesthesia (so I was awake when they took the pins out). That didn't hurt either.

  @evoLxclan Unfortunately they injected my finger with anesthetic via a needle at the base of my middle finger (above the knuckle). They made 3 injections at that location. If you look closely at 0:15, you can see that my middle finger is slightly swollen from the addition of the anesthetic.
