1) Heat is a level above every film there except Reservoir Dogs. Even then, it should be no.1

2) Heat isn't really a heist film - there's a heist in it, but it's more about the character's personal lives than anything else.

@cgonzalezruiz This is 'Journey To The Line' or at least a variation of it, but it does sound a little bit like Time from Inception - however, they're used in completely different contexts.

@DirectorOfAllTimes Different century. For this century, yes, Inception is the most well written, but Blade Runner will always be a classic.

This kind of ruins the ending for me. Most people find Blade Runner sad, because we find out that he was a replicant and he would have had little time to live, but whenver I hear people say that, I think of this scene, and say to myself 'but they live, and end up driving through the countryside!'...

@jackasslobo It was a dream, the odds were, it was armoured even if it didn't look like it - given the fact that anything can be built in a dream, the walls of the van were probably made out of a fortified material. And it's not like Saito hadn't been shot earlier.

@twilightWo1f Composers like Hans tend to read the script and base the soundtrack off the atmosphere of the story though... it works well in Inception but it can be disastrous like you said. Lucky it wasn't with Inception.

I didn't dislike this movie, but then again, who does? The answer is 4 people who will be lost in time, like tears in rain.

Just found the music to the first part of this when Deckard jumps across the roof - 'Deckard and Roy's Duel'. I couldn't find it at first, because it's on the limited edition 3 disc soundtrack.

@MrLukasart I'm not just saying it, but I genuinely think that you didn't see the film, but watched the trailer and decided that you didn't like the look of it, so you posted this.

I didn't expect any soundtrack from a Michael Mann film (or any film at all) to top the soundtrack of 'Last of the Mohicans' but this might be a contender.

Terrible, tasteless music. This is uncomparable to greats such as Neil Young and Johnny Cash.

I'd pay 20 grand for that, and any Inception fanboy should do the same.
