The best psi wheel video: PsiWheel Under a Glass Container 2

For those who think its convection currents, I made the above video 5 YEARS AGO demonstrating why that ...
There is quite a valuable gem of wisdom to be gained by believers and skeptics alike by visiting the "Favorite" (PSIWheel under a glass container) on ASmattman's channel page and reading the "more info". Very worth your while!

Finsrud Perpetual Motion Machine Revealed?
This is a working model of how I believe the Finsrud perpetual motion machine actually works. I was quite fascinated by Reidar Finsrud's Perpetuum ...
@michaelspire Actually you can use two static magnets like a watch spring. You point the same poles towards each other so they repel, then use a mechanism to force them together. Then you let the repelling force push them away from each other slowly, using a clock mechanism to do so at a slow r...

@michaelspire Actually as reported by Rita Bortveit, Finsrud said in 2008 that the longest the machine had ever run continuously was 14 days.

@JohnDowl If you pay attention to the direction of the ball's travel, it's pretty obvious the ball is pushing the wires that move the pendula, not the other way around. The wires can't pull the ball! That's why the pendula are a distraction from the real working parts--beautiful distractions.

For those who are so quick with their own pet theories of how it works, build a working model like I did to demonstrate your theory! Talk is cheap.

"...it's not perpetual motion since you have to supply power to make it work..." That's the whole point of this demonstration, folks! The same goes for Finsrud's machine. Like I"ve explained several times now in detail, most of Finsrud's machine is misdirection: The pendulums, the u-shaped ma...

@Erikiperik Comments like your's are very refreshing to read. It tells us more about the man himself, especially the artist, which is what I especially admire about him. I love his art and his versatility and inventiveness. He is as artistically adept with mechanical inventiveness (as art) as ...

@newmanbloke Yep, I agree. Actually I've worked out a way to do this without any visible magnets at all--just a circular track and a ball, so I might develop that as an executive toy!

@aj0017vlogs Think of permanent magnets just like springs if you use two that repel each other. Pushing them together is just like compressing a spring. You are adding the energy by pushing them together and once they have pushed apart, they have lost all the energy you added to them. Once you ...

@roro879 Actually he makes almost no claims at all about it! That's the most fascinating thing about the Finsrud machine: he just sits back and lets other people go wild with their speculations about how it works. I must say that my suggestion is only that: an educated guess based on recognizi...

@swartskaap777 No, but the momentum of the ball helps minimizes the energy the battery has to use to keep the ball moving. Basically the battery has to match at least the energy lost to friction, plus energy lost to sound, plus energy lost to heat in the resistance of the wires. You reduce fric...

@theufohunter123 BTW, even if permanent magnets were used as low friction bearings, it would still not be a perpetual motion machine. Some of the energy would still be converted unavoidably to heat and the machine would eventually run down. Permanent magnets are at best like mechanical springs-...
