I'm not really making an argument against here, but the Mayans might have had a reason for ending their calendar on 21st of December. Why wouldn't it? You can get bass from normal current aswell. Distorted and horribly sounding, but bass all the same. I admit to now knowing too much about 8-bit sound systems though, but just my thoughts.
