On June 20th, join Brett Dennen , along with the Blind Boys Alabama and SteveSongs, at the Life Is Good Festival , taking place in Boston Commons in Boston, MA. You and one guest will be flown to Boston and will also get a double occupancy hotel room on June 19th and June 20th. The winners will also be able to meet Brett at the show!
Brett Dennen's song "Make You Crazy", from his new album Hope for the Hopeless offers a meaningful plea for social change hidden in a pop gem. Perform your best cover version, using any live instrumentation you like (no karaoke!), and submit your video to Brett's channel (contest group link TBD), for a chance to win a trip to the Life Is Good Festival. Prizes: The winner and their guest will be guests at the Life is good Festival to be held on Boston Common on June 20th, 2009 to enjoy Brett Dennen's performance. The winner and their guest will be flown roundtrip (coach class) from the major continental US metropolitan airport nearest the winner's home to Boston, Massachusetts (arriving June 19th, 2009 and departing June 21st, 2009) and will receive hotel accommodations for the nights of June 19th, 2009 and June 20th, 2009 in one double occupancy room in a Boston hotel.
Except for the prize values, the prize winner will not receive any additional monetary compensation or acknowledgement for participation in the Promotion, any advertisement or other material. Except as specifically provided herein, each prize winner is solely responsible for all expenses and fees, including, without limitation, taxes, related to any prize or this Promotion. Reporting and payment of all applicable taxes resulting from acceptance or use of any prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
All taxes required to be paid upon acceptance of the prize and any expenses not specifically mentioned as part of the prize (including without limitation transportation to and from departure city, gratuities, incidental expenses, and meals) shall be the sole responsibility of the prize winner. Travel arrangements for the prize shall be determined by Sponsor. Prize winner and guest must travel on same itinerary. Trip must be taken on dates and times designated by Sponsor or prize will be forfeited. Travel restrictions may apply and frequent flyer miles may not be available. Once travel is booked, no changes or cancellations will be accepted. No extensions or exceptions shall apply or be available. All travel is subject to availability. Airline schedules, event schedules, and travel arrangements are subject to change outside the control of the Sponsor. Sponsor will not be liable or responsible for any such changes and reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value, in Sponsor's sole discretion, if, for any reason, all or any portion of the prize is not available. It is the responsibility of the prize winner and their travel guest to arrive at the designated gateway city in time for their flight, with proper travel documentation. Certain travel and security restrictions may apply and it is the responsibility of the winner and their guest to comply with all travel, security and other laws, regulations, airline passenger and rules that may apply to them. The prize winner's travel guest must execute and return fully executed liability/publicity release forms prior to the issuance of travel documents.
