What is this? They took out nearly all of the best parts of Bronte's prose and filled it full of cliches! I'm trying to force myself to watch it to the end, but it's painful. I love both of these actors, but this version falls far short of several other versions.

I actually thought Debi did a pretty good job -- considering that Greg, Colin, and Ryan have all been doing this for years and years and this was a one-time thing for Debi. Of course she's not as good as the others at the games, but she did some pretty entertaining stuff.

@JonFrumTheFirst It is pretty bad, but we Americans probably do just as poorly at attempting various British accents. Probably they've been snickering at us for decades!

That car exploded the instant the front end came into contact with the ground! Not a very safe car to be in if you have a minor fender-bender!

The musical score in this is TERRIBLE!!! It really distracts from the action. Love the movie otherwise, though. :-)
