This video is actually quite a fun one, and I came to this idea one night as I was watching through the 4th season of Hercules the Legendary Journeys. When I really like an episode, I'll watch it several times. This was another one of those times when I just happened to be listening to a new ABBA CD I had gotten, another hits issue, I listen through all songs on all new CDs as a habit of mine, you see. So I was listening to Dancing Queen right as the episode '...And Fancy Free' was playing. It was by total happenchance that I discovered that if you play the song right at a certain part of the episode, that it syncs up perfectly and ends right at the end of the dance. Of course, I edited the video and added scenes, and took out other scenes, sped up parts, slowed some parts, and placed some scenes in different places to make this video just perfect. But most of it is the dance with Hercules which is the main part of the whole video.
Ironically in the same episode, Madame Twanky sings a song and in its lyrics the words 'you'll reign supreme/the dancing queen' just happens to be sung although it's no connection to ABBA. But one has to wonder if the song somehow did inspire some part of that episode.

Life was mundane for Bonnie until he came. When I got the DVD of the movie Bonnie & Clyde starring Warren Beatty & Faye Dunaway, I was really captivated by the story having known some of the history already. Upon further viewings of this film, I was listening to ABBA's The Day Before You Came and was amazed at how many scenes in the film matched up with the song's overall theme, tone, timing and atmosphere despite that the lyrics are a bit anachronistic to the era in which Bonnie & Clyde lived. I am very proud of my first attempt to edit a music video.
