Experiments wth the spoken word. Poems
and pieces
by certain established writers (if I reckon they are worth sharing)
and items from my own pen or keyboard.
Poetry for me should sharpen the senses, show you something you haven't seen before or awaken the conscience and push the dark areas into the light - preferably all of those at the same time!!

About Me:
Country:
United Kingdom
Occupation:
Apart from Theatre work (and there have to be other things in periods of change or career stagnation) I've worked as an Art Gallery attendant, taught speech and drama to full and part time students, worked in the paper and print trade, painted and decorated, oddjobbed for a firm of solicitors in Covent Garden, worked for some silver merchants in New Bond Street and been story editor for Thames Television in Teddington.
Interests:
Didn't know until recently where I got Caspar33 from. Then I remembered he was a character in an unproduced film-script of mine but importantly I discovered he is Germany's equivalent to Mr. Punch - a chauvenist, anarchist puppet.
33 was the number Stoke Newington High Street where I spent all my teen years. It was a police-station then and still is I believe. That was my father's day job.The mounted variety. The stables were situated just beneath our apartment.
Movies:
Almost impossible to list favourite films over any period of time as ones sensibility changes, hopefully deepens. No doubt these, seen recently or again, are treasures in quality and execution. Lust -Caution, Dances with Wolves, Rome-Open City, Nelly and Mr.Arnaud. The Colour of Paradise, Lives of Others, Falling Down, School of Rock, Human Resources, Key Largo, Zorba the Greek, Les Miserables (1935), Kiki's Delivery Service, Russian Ark, Tabu and last but by no means the least of these States of Ordinary Madness. Almost anything from Brando and a handfulof others asI love great acting and writing. Film has long superceded theatre in my case. I dont know why. But when a project carries the greatest commitment seems to me it is most likely that a kind of blessed alchemy happens. Heroes come in all shapes and sizes: Dylan, Bukowski, Werner Herzog, Αbbas Κiarοstami, Finkelstein, Hitchens, Gurdjieff, Chekhov, Shakespeare, Tarkovsky, Bergman and many others who have either produced something marvellous and have been true to themselves.
Books:
Lord of the Rings, The Interpretation of Dreams. Memories, Dreams and Reflections (Jung), Tales from the Hills (Kipling), Chekhov's short stories, Views from the Real World (Gurdjieff),
most of Gerald Durrell's animal books, Journey to Ixtlan (and most of C.Casteneda) plus the collected works of Mr.W.S. and for that matter R.Zimmerman.

Merry Christmas and all the best in the New Year.
Wishing you and your loved ones peace,
health, happiness and prosperity
in the coming New Year 2012!
Thank you for your talent and fantastic videos!
Best wishes,
Catalina
