In 1988, Casey House helped to change the way the world saw people with HIV/AIDS, as the first stand-alone HIV/AIDS hospice in Canada.

Twenty years later, that pioneering and compassionate spirit is still called upon daily at Casey House, now a HIV/AIDS specialty hospital with community programs. We have earned international respect for the highly developed expertise of our remarkable staff and volunteers in caring for people affected by this complex and difficult disease, whether at our hospice, in their homes or out on the street.

Thanks to treatment advances, our clients are experiencing improvements in their overall health and quality of life. But sadly there is no cure, and every two hours, another Canadian is diagnosed with HIV.

Our mission: "to provide exemplary treatment, support and palliative care for people living with HIV/AIDS."
