Great video. Loved all the books as well. I wonder if that era has gone forever? Mind you it was only a good time if you were aristocracy or loaded. But we can dream. Quack, quack.

I like anything that makes me laugh, from the nostalgia of the Carry On films to the bumbling Inspector Clouseau. Peter Sellers made me laugh so hard I would fall off the cinema seats. Then there's television. Frasier, Miranda and Lead Balloon and many more that have made me forget life for a while with a belly laugh.I really believe laughter in our lives is important, for our immune systems and well being. I remember reading Wilt by Tom Sharp. It was a low time in my life, but I couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud while in a hospital waiting room. Everybody in that room looked up and smiled, and for a brief moment we were linked by humour.
Since then, I have always wanted to write a novel that would make people laugh out loud wherever they were. The book I have just finished is called Carry On Quack. Dr Edward Quack's life is in turmoil. His marriage to Elizabeth is falling apart and he is being led astray by the new sexy blonde receptionist Angela Dodds. I mustn't forget to introduce you to Adolphus Hunt, a private eye who likes blackmail.
Shake them all together and you have a cocktail of rib tickling laughter. It will be published by November 2011 at Amazon and Smashwords as an eBook. So please check out my blog regularly for publication day.
Great theme for Porterhouse Blue. It went with the TV series perfectly. Loved the book by Tom Sharp, but my favorite was Wilt. I give this video a big Quack.
