I don't understand why you're wasting energy cutting up kindling when it's all over the woods. If it's wet then yea I could see it. Also just cutting nice 2 foot pieces of wood in general. Wastes worlds of energy when you can just start halving logs by burning them or feeding them in from one end...

My dad is Carrol (Meatball) Meeks. He was a member of " The Sunshine Boys", the group Bob and Joe had in the 50's on. in later years they played Radio Shows localy here in Sulphur Springs where they are from.

My father used to sing with "The Sunshine Boys" in the 50's with Bob and Joe. I knew Joe personaly when he used to run the propane store in Sulphur Springs Texas. My Dad's stage name was Carrol (Meatball) Meeks and they played the Reilley Springs Jamboree and radio show in the late 50's.

Have you looked at Spiderwire fishing line? Very thin and VERY strong! I have about 50 feet in my fishing kit. It's about the diameter of 10 pound test but can hold about 40 pounds!

Just an observation here. Flys are fairly clean creatures compared to others in the animal kingdom. When they aren't flying, eating or screwing they are cleaning themselves. One point some are missing. The .45 cartridge is inherently hard to control and keep on target. The relatively light recoil of this cartridge makes it easier to keep on target for double taps. My two pennies.
