The Robert Jeffrey Band is the Carothers Family Band with members Bob and Debbie Carothers (Streetsboro, OH), Ben Carothers (Ravenna, OH), Jack Carothers (Winchester, VA), Chris Carothers (Hartville, OH) and Mark Huff (Euclid, OH.) The Carothers brothers, Bob (guitar, sax, flute), Jack (keyboards), and Chris (drums), originally from Cadiz, Ohio, have been playing music together for over 40 years. Ben Carothers (bass) is the father of the Carothers brothers and is 82 years old. Debbie (vocals, acoustic guitar) is married to Bob and has been with the band for over 30 years. Mark (percussion, harmonica) has been with the band for about 30 years. Bob is "Robert Jeffrey" Carothers. The band was formerly known as the Chris Michael Band.
