About Me:
Carey grew up listening to Singers like: "JohnnyCash-I Walk the Line "," Hank Williams-I Saw The Light "," Elvis",The Beatles, Classic Rock, Punk & U2. He also watched His Dad, sing in Church on Sundays. In 1977, He began gigging wk-ends in eclectic cover bands. He moved to Toronto Eventually, with no substantial leads & minimum wage jobs; moved back to His hometown, disillusioned. The third time, He lived in that same Area for about 17 Yrs. Prior to 1989; He drifted into secularism & a new modern religion. That left his heart hard, empty, confused & synical. He found himself drifting further & further away from The Lord; wrestling with a lack of confidence, depression, anxiety, broken relationships & the reality that He had crossed-over the line into alcohol addiction. This was a major crossroads in His life. "GOOD NEWS" In May 1990 Carey Successfully, Invited "Jesus Christ " to live, inside His Heart." My healing & deliverance hasn't been instantaneous, say's Carey. I went to A.A. for a while & at another point in time I was exposed for the 1st time to the supernatural gift of healing. The Holy Spirit has been relentlessly faithful in the painful removal of abusive garbage/baggage, caused by addiction. " It's a vicious trap. God has brought me new friends that have prayed Me out of the situation. I will never be the same again. It's good to know that God really cares & Loves Me. He's mercyful & good !Knowing His presence in my life, has made all the difference. "Any Man or Woman who calls on the name of the Lord Will Be Saved." His raw blues sound is from the gut & delivers to the soul. His music's poetic, entertaining, well put together & it's inspiration has been birthed through life struggles & prayer & co-writing. Storys about bumps on the road.This whole deal is dedicated to Friends & most of all to the Lord.. His hope is that You will also be Inspired & find a home within the local Christian Church / Arc. A place where You are Loved & where You leave sensing the power of God. Media's rapidly changing. The music industry is also rapidly changing, God's raising up a New Generation of Musicians that are Spirit Filled & know Him & His Voice. The Lord wants to reclaim an industry that's way off course.
