The series was good, but it should have been much, much better, given the great comic actors on show here.

I still prefer the first series title music. I was sorely disappointed by the second series theme!

I'm under the impression that after Doctor who was cancelled in 1989, Children's drama seemed to started to make shows in that similar vein. Funny, scary, yet brilliant stories, with special effects that made Doctor who producers turn green with envy!

I have watched both versions of the series, and I find that this one does tend to have some lull points (a bit like the Prisoner remake) and while the Original has more fluid, realistic, unforced dialog, I do believe that this will be a hit for the US market, because of the appeal of the concept....
