Captain Zippy is an eight piece soul n roll ska sensation, winners of Best of the Bands 2011, formed in late 2009. The band has been through its fair share of ups and downs, first with the loss of their pianist, and then their vocalist; but nevertheless they carried on! With their new vocalist, and expanded horn section they're sounding tighter than ever. Having only 3 months under the belt with their new line up they went on to win Best of the Bands, Grand Opera House, with flying colours.
