If I ever get a hold of an episode where Matilda makes a new happiness herb for Ovide and his friends to try, we will see if we can do a tribute video on it with "Shiny Happy People" by R.E.M. I've been dreaming of that episode ever since I saw that part from 4:29 to 5:15 on that new Ovide trailer from last year.

By any chance did you happen to hear something about Ovide premiering 10/8/11 on qubo of NBC? I did.

I have some other good news too, mrsimpsonstef2 said that if I quit pestering him about Ovide, he will upload the "Nectar Of Happiness" episode in French while I am away on vacation. I should be able to see it by the time I get back; I'll keep my fingers crossed and see.

Last night a friend of mine suggested that I get my "Sing and Play With Ovide" DVD published and send it to the production company of Ovide, then perhaps CinéGroupe might put the Ovide cartoon series back on the air, even in the United States. Do you have any idea if it might work?

Now that Ovide and the Gang is being planned to go back on the air (probably NBC) I think it's time someone produced a chess set out of the characters, and here's what it will look like.

Each side will have a different set of characters; Ovide on one side and Cy on the other. The Kings will be Ovide and Cy, of course. The Queens will be Saffron and Bobo. The Bishops - Polo and an anaconda. The Knights - Matilda (the kangaroo) and that honker guy from episode 22 of the actual show. The Rooks - Groaner and that pink t-rex from episode 17. And finally the Pawns will be those hens and Woody the worm.

BTW have you heard the song on my account that goes, "I have a friend that is name is Ovide, his name is Ovide, his name is Ovide, I have a friend that his name is Ovide, we have fun together"?
