I have to say nice work. There are so maany great Shotokan people out there it is hard to get them all included. I just hope that the legacy doesn't die as these great leaders pass on. I hope that the direction of Shotokan Karate remains true to the beliefs of these truely great masters.

Good time had by all. Not a whole lot of technique but they were children.

Funakoshi was like 95 when he made this video. Just the fact that he was able to do any of this at that age tells you how well developed his mind and body was. Most people at that age are sitting in a wheel chair. It's a testament to the man and the art he developed.

Far be it from me to critize Sensei Kanazawa but I think his kicks should be more focused forward than up.

I can't believe how bad this performance is. There are so many bad points. No hips, no focus, no flow. no dynamics. Definitly not a black belt performance
