Prolog:

Es ist ihr liebstes Spiel . Zum ungezählten Male lässt sie den stark mit Wasser vermengten Sand an ihren ausgestreckten Fingern nieder rinnen ... meditativ ... geduldig ... beharrlich ... Tropfen für Tropfen bilden die unregelmäßigen Ablagerungen ihr Traumschloss . Geordnetes Chaos ? Chaotische Ordnung ?
Ihr gefällt die absichtliche Zufälligkeit der Form , die rundlichen Türme , die sie wie immer nach dem Grundriss eines Kreises aneinander reiht , obwohl sie es weder bewusst so benennen könnte , noch überhaupt nach einem Grunde forscht,warum sie es so und nicht anders macht , denn sie ist erst vier Jahre alt .
Sie hält inne in ihrem Spiel .
Mit einem Blick zum Strand zurück , stellt sie fest , dass ihre Großmutter in der Nähe unter dem Schatten spendenden Hut eingeschlafen ist . Ihre Augen wenden sich dem offenen Meere zu . Am Horizont entschwindet langsam im Moment ein Schiff , löst sich in Luft auf . Die Wellen , die es verursacht , werden später noch sein Sein bekunden und den Strand hinauf an ihrem Kunstwerk lecken , bis auch dieses sich zurückverwandeln wird ; zuerst an Festigkeit verlierend an eine alte Ruine mahnend , dann , Sandkorn zu Sandkorn , Wasser zu Wasser , immer mehr die Form verlassend und am Ende wird es so scheinen , als habe es nie existiert .

" Ist das mit allem so ?" ,fragt sie sich ernst . " Nun bin ich schon vier Jahre alt ! Ich bin schon vier Jahre hier " ... und sie versucht , die gesamte Dimension der Zeit , die Ausdehnung ihrer ganzen bisherigen Lebensspanne zu erfassen . Sie kommt sich auf einmal ganz alt und weise vor und zeigt ein Lächeln , als hätte sie schon eine ganze .Ewigkeit in dieser Welt verbracht und erinnere sich gerade daran dass selbst der Lauf der Zeit nichts weiter ist ,als eine akzeptierte Illusion , eine allgemeine Verabredung Aller , die in dieser Welt nun sind und weiter nichts .
Der Seewind spielt in ihrem blonden Haar , als fahre ein alter Freund ihr freudig grüßend über den Kopf und sie versteht den Wink sofort und lacht befreit : Nichts verschwindet ganz...alles wandelt sich nur , verändert stets seine Form;aber alles kehrt wieder ...und wieder ..und wieder ..für immer ! Nichts ist verloren ! Nie !
So sicher ,wie sie immer wissen wird ,dass es ihr Schloss aus Sand gegeben , obwohl es niemand außer ihr wird je bezeugen können , so sicher weiß sie plötzlich , sie selbst war auch schon hier . Wie jene Form aus Sand , hat sie sich nur im Äußeren verwandelt ; ihre Augen mögen nur neue Glasscheiben im neuen Fensterrahmen einer neuen Wohnung sein , es blickt jedoch aus ihnen eine vertraute Seele in eine schon erprobte Welt und freut sich neu am Jetzt !
