About Cantico Nueve - If our videos bless you, please subscribe!
A few of us got together to form a new group called Cantico Nueve which means nine song or nine hymn or nine chant depending on the nuance of meaning you wish to ascribe to the word "cantico." It was originally supposed to be Cantico Nuevo or New Song, but since Spanish is not my native tongue, I misspelled it! It's a happy mistake, though, because the number nine is highly symbolic. Similarly to number seven, it can symbolize completeness or the end or conclusion of a matter (hence nine supreme court judges). It also can symbolize the fruit of the Holy Spirit in that there are nine manifestataions or graces to the fruit of the Holy Spirit:
Love
Joy
Peace
Patience
Gentleness
Goodness
Faith
Meekness
Self Control
In any case, we hope to minister some new songs in the Spanish language (with English translation in the video description) to our hispanic and other friends here on You Tube!
