Well as my profile name says I want this channel to be a place where we talk about the outdoors. Here I'll share my thoughts on backpacking, fishing, shooting and gear talk. Gear, the stuff that we all love and what makes our time outside more enjoyable.

I am also interested in emergency preparedness. During the spring of 2009 there was a tornado that tore through my town and that was a wake up call for me. That disaster reminded me how vulnerable we all are and showed me just how unprepared I was.

I'm not an expert on survival, shooting or fishing just an ordinary guy. When and if I make a video I'll try to speak on topics that I've had experience in and "campfiretalk" discussions are more than welcome. Let's all remember to keep our comments constructive and make this a place to learn from each other.
