Cameron Donald Johnston born 26th September 1996, was born in Johannesburg, South Africa, and then moved out to the UK when he was about 3 years old.

Cam is a dedicated musician very persistant on being one of the hit rappers of the next generation. Inspired by various different rappers, Cam's style delves from Drakes R'n'B type of Rap.

The name Camapillar comes from the philosophy behind Cam's career.

"I think of Life as a long track, at the start it's going to be very mediocre and not very impacting. This is very much like the starting life form of a Butterfly, a Caterpillar. As the song progresses the Caterpillar will grow stronger before finally the Caterpillar will go into a crysillisc where he will stay and evolve. This is considered to be the middle 8 of the track.
When ready the Caterpillar will emerge a glorious butterfly. Though the Butterfly shortlived, it will give the track a brilliant ending.
Right now I am in the Caterpillar stage of my career, so myself and my peers have given me the name Camapillar until I reach the stage where I am coming to the end of my career where I will retire will one hit of a song."
