We do NOT know if there is anything beyond this life, what we DO know is that we are alive, right now, and that's what's important.
I have come to the conclusion, based upon my observations of the many religions of the world, that Gods are cultural explications of what man perceives to be Divinity; the energy that flows through, inhabits and fuels all things.
I think this omnipresent energy is about as conscious of us as we are of each of our individual white blood cells, which is to say, if it has an Awareness at all, It is so gargantuan, so strange, and so far beyond the scope of our own limited, miniscule individual perceptions as to render It incomprehensible to our understanding is it now stands.
