It's as if we want something "terrible" according to society, when all we want is for human brutality, ignorance, cowardice, ruthlessness, etc., to stop. Habit is a terrible thing when combined with cruelty and denial.

If you are talking about the Greek crisis, I deleted it because I prefer not to post comments in answer to other comments and I particularly do not wish to engage in exchanging comments with people who lack any degree of politeness. Its one thing to post comments on any issue which lack depth and spherical knowledge (many of those) and quite another to be an advocator of hate. I must confess though that I myself once wrote unpleasant comments to a man who beat a horse. I cannot bear cruelty of any kind expressed and directed to any living species. I
