This is my first video. I composed the song, took the video and edited it. I was a very enterprising young woman some time ago!! However, it is my first, and since I'm trying to get more of a presence onto youTube, I thought I'd send this up first.

Hi everyone! One of the best parts about being on YouTube and making videos is having the opportunity to be creative. Mystery Man and I really want to push ourselves, so we're making vignettes about my perspective on fashion. This piece is one in a series of short films that we're doing. We hope that you enjoy it and thank you so much for watching!

HOW TO: DRY SKIN CURE
Products needed:
Water based cleanser/cold cream cleanser Bicarbonate of soda Glycerol/Glycerine Olive oil/coconut oil/almond oil etc... Vaseline
Dry skin can be very problematic for some people as with dry skin the texture isn't smooth and this can mean that makeup doesn't go on as smoothly as it could.
Hydrating dry skin is one of the best things we can do to create a smooth surface - that and light gentle exfoliation. Combine the two and you're on to a winner.
Try this technique out - see where it takes you. You'll be surprised at the results you get from such a simple regime
Vaseline:
Clear, odorless oil derived from petroleum that is widely used in cosmetics because it rarely causes allergic reactions and it cannot become a solid and clog pores. Despite mineral oil's association with petroleum and the hype that it is bad for or ages skin, keep in mind that petroleum is a natural ingredient derived from the earth and that once it becomes mineral oil USP (cosmetics- and pharmaceutical-grade mineral oil), it has no resemblance to the original petroleum.
Cosmetics-grade mineral oil and petrolatum are considered the safest, most nonirritating moisturizing ingredients ever found (Sources: Cosmetics & Toiletries, January 2001, page 79; and Cosmetic Dermatology, September 2000, pages 44--46). Yes, they can keep air off the skin to some extent, but that's what a good antioxidant is supposed to do; they don't suffocate skin! Moreover, mineral oil and petrolatum are known to be efficacious in wound healing, and are also among the most effective moisturizing ingredients available (Source: Cosmetics & Toiletries, February 1998, pages 33--40).
Mineral oil is not an ingredient to avoid unless you have oily skin, in which case the somewhat greasy texture of mineral oil won't feel the best (but again, mineral oil doesn't clog pores or suffocate skin).
The confusion around mineral oil is also caused by some cosmetics companies and people who use the information about non-purified mineral oil as a scare tactic. The mineral oil used in skin-care products is certified as either USP (United States Pharmacopeia) or BP (British Pharmacopeia). This is the type that's used in skin-care products, and it's completely safe, soothing, non-irritating, and perfectly healthy for skin (Sources: Sources: Journal of Dermatologic

In every makeup artists arsenal there has to be one eyeshadow look that works on all eye shapes regardless.
This, to me, is the classic eye. The reason i think its classic is that it follow the principles of highlighting and contouring. While you cannot see it here - you will fully in a full face tutorial coming - but the outer edge of this eyeshadow look actually connects to the upper cheek highlight.
This technique works because all we are using here are principles of light and dark. It doesn't matter if you want to use green, or blue or pink, the principles remain the same. Lightest. Midtone. Contour. Eyeliner.
Once you know the basics you can do anything.
Some notes:
If you have:
Deep set eyes - consider OVER applying the brow and lid highlight. This will bring the eyes out even more.
Hooded eyes - careful with the eyeliner. A push liner brush might be a better option as this will maximise your lid space.
Wide Set eyes - easy on the inner eye highlight.
Close set eyes - same principles apply as to the deep set eyes.
I do hope you enjoyed this and learnt something a little bit more in-depth than most other eye shadow tutorials.
I appreciate your time.
Thank you.

.: READ BELOW FOR MORE INFORMATION :.
This isn't a traditional review video, as I am not fond of doing those types of videos (which is why you haven't seen anything of that sort on my channel until now), so I am going to refer to it as a "product focus". Basically, this type of video will showcase a single, or maybe two, product that I love and want to expose to my subscribers or to anyone who happens to come across this video. =) Hope you like this video! If you do, thumbs up and I will do more of the same.
PRODUCT NAME: High Beam PRODUCT BRAND: Benefit PRODUCT COST: $26 (not including tax) WHERE TO BUY? Sephora and Department stores where Benefit cosmetics are sold. Also can be ordered online through Sephora, the department stores' websites, and Benefit's main website (http://www.benefitcosmetics.com).
NOTE: The product featured in this video was sent to me for review purposes -- meaning I did not purchase this with my own money. Though I received this product free of charge, that does NOT sway my opinions towards it. I am always 100% honest about my feelings towards a product.
This video has been sponsored via MyLikes. You too can create videos for stuff you like and make money as well. Be sure to visit MyLikes at: http://mylikes.co... to sign up!
