CRAIG CONROY #24 "Connie first came to Calgary in 2001 when the Flames traded Cory Stillman for Connie from the St. Louis Blues. Connie then became captain, until the 2003-04 season when he gave captaincy to Jarome Iginla, where he became a assistant captain. In 2004 Connie went to the Los Angeles Kings as a free agent. But on January 29, 2007 Connie got traded back to Calgary for Jamie Lundmark. Connie has become a favorite player to the fans and a favorite in the locker room. Connie is a Calgary Flame and always will be".
JAROME IGINLA #12 "At the start of the 2003-04 season Iggy became captain of the Calgary Flames. In 2004 Iggy led the Flames to there first Stanley Cup finals appearance in 15 years. On March 10, 2008 Iggy scored in a game against the St. Louis Blues to become the Flames all-time leading goal scorer, passing Theoren Fleury. Iggy is known as a nice guy on and off the ice".
DION PHANEUF #3 "Phaneuf won rookie of the month award in November 2005. On April 13, 2006 Phaneuf became only the third rookie defenceman to score 20 goals in a season, this also broke the Flames team record for goals by a defenceman. Phaneuf played in the NHL All-Star Game in 2007 and recorded the longest empty net goal in NHL history when he banked a shot off the boards from behind his own net, the puck rolled into the the empty Eastern Conference team's net.
MIIKKA KIPRUSOFF #34 "In 2003 Kipper got traded to Calgary from the San Jose Sharks. Kipper ended the regular season with a 1.69 goals against average, which was a modern NHL record. In the 2005-06 season, Kipper won the Vezina Trophy as the league's best goaltender, he also won the William Jennings Trophy for being on the team with the least goals against allowed.
