@DARKgirafa I guess I just expected something more connected to the song itself. Music videos sometimes clarify the meaning of a song, and that's what I was hoping the video would do. Instead it was a montage of her recording and some mirror effect.

This version sounds obviously different from the UK version. Her voice sounds creepy in this version. I'm surprised nobody's mentioned it yet.

When I was 7, my entire Sunday-school class thought this song was absolutely awesome. This is the perfect song for Christian preteens.

I liked both of them before I knew they performed together, and it was exciting to hear that they had performed together. This is my absolute favourite Stevie song.

I know it's weird, but I have to comment on her hair in this video. From the beginning of her solo career, her hair was always atrocious (messy), but finally she looks nice in this video.

@KarlChilders I agree, but I don't think it has anything to do with the fact that it was made in the 80s. I've seen superb old music videos, this just isn't a good one.

I'm gonna be in a Godspell performance, but this song is placed in between Light of the World and Finale. It's also more sad and slow. The lyrics are also a little different.

@jdowg2011 Yeah. I'm about to be in a production of this, and our version has a very very strong electric guitar. It really makes the mood much more powerful. This is well done, but the instrumentals are mediocre.

It's inevitable that if you try to make a music video for 11 songs, one of them is bound to be insufficient, and this is the one.

@RawrImStarCHAOS The UK video is random and meaningless, but fun and "epic". The US one defines the song more and gives it another level, but doesn't appeal to dance-pop fans.

I'm an American and this video appeals to me more. The other video makes me think of the song as a weird techno song, but this one makes me see the song as she wrote it.

Good song, but the album cover is really misleading. I kind of assumed this album would be more boring now that Pat Benatar is older. The cover doesn't help because it looks so sophisticated and lacks creativity. Her Go album cover is much better. Even Gravity's Rainbow has a young and cool cover.

The ad before the video had guys on horses faking an English accent. The guy said the word "noooo". Come ON, it's spelled n-e-w and that's how English pronounce it.

@MrAnt422 Definitely. There are still some good ones, but the top music of today seems to be crap. In the 2000-2003 era, music was better than it was the rest of the decade.
