Calamity Jane was formed by destiny, with Kristine and Alisa brought together by fate. Kristine on lead guitar and Alisa on keyboards are a force to be reckoned with as they bring a gutsy new rock and roll to the table, with influences from the classic rock past, blues, funk and jazz. They even venture into some strange territory with their psychedelic jams and Eastern Indian forays. Variety is the name of the game with this band. The two virtuoso front gals are backed by a solid rhythm section with Eric Naslund on bass, Phil Vanilla on drums, and Bob Smith on percussion.
They hold their own throughout a battle of the riffs together, guitar and keys respectively, and send people to the dance floor quicker than you can say "yo!"
