This is the official YouTube account for UC Berkeley's premier dance group, The [M]ovement!

Caroline Kim and Trisha Mitra founded the Movement in the Fall of 1999. They began with a vision of bringing together a diverse group of people sharing a passion to dance. Beginning with only 20 members, the group has expanded to over 100 members, introducing different styles of hip-hop, jazz, and swing to the UC Berkeley campus.

Making their debut on Upper Sproul, the Movement continued to perform on Lower Sproul, cultural diversity fairs, various student productions on campus, the YWCA, and showcases at the Julia Morgan Theater. After selling out one showcase, the Movement has successfully sold out all of their following showcases.

Our Spring 2009 Showcase will take place at Julia Morgan on Thursday and Friday, April 9 & 10, 2009. Contact us at ucb.movement@gmail.com or send a message for more information!
