Part #2 Ok, you may say that name can be translated. Stop right here with that thought. My American name can be translated in Spanish, but if I'm not born in Spain there is no need to translate it. Ok we understand the Greeks didn't have the letter "Y" so since we have the letters to make the sounds that make up the sound that was heard when people called him, why are you not using it. Wow I thought you were smart but you don't listen to yourself. You strongly state that the "j" makes the "y" sound that's why we use the letter "j" in Jesus. (Run your tape back and hear yourself.)Please! You are making the argument that your opponents are saying, (the sound of his name makes a difference) in the word Jesus the "j" doesn't sound like the "Y" sound. What did his mother call him when she needed him? what did his followers call him? If you would go to another country they may make phases in their foreign language but when they get to your name in the middle of their sentence they respect your name by pronouncing your name the way you told them how to pronounce it.
