Hello my name is Kristyann Miller and I attend MT. San Antonio College as pre vet. this year. My true passion in life is to work with horses and all kinds of animals...and Im sure if you have ever talked to me you know I have a horse named JAKE...I love to watch him grow in knowledge even if at times Im the only one who believes that he can go far in life... (STACY and EVERYONE ELS YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE... LOL) But their faces were priceless when our first show we got first in color and went in the grand champion class.... :) John Wayne once said that "courage is being scared to death - but saddling up anyway" well I would like to say, that is the way I live my life. Whether Im out white water rafting in Colorado or here at home trying to save an animal in need. It can be scary at times but I always try, and never give up. Ever since I can remember I have been taking in strays of one kind or another, not my mothers favorite thing but this is what has inspired me to prepare myself for a career in veterinary medicine. From two starving mares left to fend for themselves to an injured parakeet stuck on a glue trap rehabilitating injured animals has made me very aware of the suffering of animals and need for someone to provide for them the care and dignity they deserve. My dream is to attend UC Davis were I will obtain the education I need to put my god given talents to use. All our dreams can come true if we have the courage to pursue them.
