The Congress of the People is a political party in Trinidad and Tobago. It was formed in 2006 as a revolution away from the traditional, racial and tribal based politics that has scourged our beloves country of Trinidad and Tobago for decades.

The Congress of the People has fought, is fighting, and will continue to fight against the perverse political and social corruption that has been engineered by those abusing the responsibility to provide competent and fair governance to Trinbagonians.

In the general election of 2007, the COP recieved an electoral mandate by the people TO STAY, TO FIGHT, and TO CONTINUE STRIVING towards bringing the change that is neccessary for us to develop as individuals and as a people.

This needed change cannot happen overnight. The struggle to restore our country's INTEGRITY and DEMOCRACY will be quite a tedious one indeed. BUT, the Congress of the People has stood strong, and the COP has passed the first level; NOW UNTO THE NEXT! We can be the change that we need. We are the change. JOIN US in THIS GREAT MOVEMENT!!!!
