About Me:
Gardener loved hip hop from a young age, and always appreciated it for the evolving sport that it is. Gardener knows that, just like any sport, hip hop athletes must adapt and grow with the game, or remain stagnant and get left behind. Gardener's story-telling ability reflects the wealth of diverse experiences that he has to draw from. His drive to stay fresh leads him to experiment with different sounds, and mix melody with rap to create a sound the game has never heard before. Gardener combines relevant content and a fresh sound in a way that is hard to find in today's hip hop world. Make no mistake, Gardener is not a victim of the flash, and he is fresh.
Gardener has dabbled in hip hop for the past several years and, until recently, has written and recorded for fun. His drive recently got the best of him, and potential obstacles, and now he is on a mission to share not only his unique style, but also his unique perspective. His drive has pushed him past the nay-sayers and those who said "no, can't, don't," and now music is not only his vehicle for expression, but it's also his vehicle for growth.
"My Drive" is Gardener's first serious single, and the video captures the rawness of the song, and of Gardener as an artist and a human being. New to the online world, Gardener is growing his brand and his fan base, with music that everyone can relate and vibe to.
World, watch out, Gardener has mastered his mistakes, and his ability to create meaningful music will help him create and hold a significant, enduring space in the hip hop world.
