I believe that this piece is Haddad's 1st piano etude (The Shadow). It is not Dillon's as one might thnk. The recording of a fragment of the very same etude is at Haddad's website.

Indeed, "the one who chants *well*(!), he prays twice". I hope that our priests move to "knowing" chanting by passing the needed professional studies of music (and composition?!), thus hopefully not ending inverting the phrase cited above to: "the one who chants *badly*, he misses praying twice"!
