C.Nichole, born Christin Nichole in Dallas, TX, remembers Christmas of 1998 as an important moment of her life. After unwrapping Mya's first CD, she realized she wanted to be in the music industry anyway she could; setting her goals for just that in the 1st grade at 7. After singing and winning at local talents shows and participating in choir none stop, she moved to Southern California. Even in California, continuing talent shows and in the 6th grade, C.Nichole started a singing group called Ability with a couple of her peers. After moving four times between California and Texas during Jr. High; disbanding the group seemed fair. She still took a chance and attended a singing workshop with Patrice Russian and Tina Marie. But all of a sudden what was supposed to be a substitute for P.E. became her interest; dancing. While attending classes at Le Studio in Pasadena, CA C.Nichole trained in Hip-Hop, Flamenco, and Jazz. An opportunity came, so she took it and ventured off into modeling after getting signed to an agency in L.A. With the modeling and dipping into movie scenes over the years, she knew music was her real passion. She decided to commit to choir again after performing in Ovations: The Musical and joining shows with veterans like the Broadway group Up With People.She began upping her writing skills, conquering 1200 songs before her senior year. Feeling in order for people to take her serious, she filled out her first copywriters application right along with the BMI application at 16. Writing words out the dictionary to up her vocabulary, after teachers asking if writing the dictionary was a punishment. Moving to Texas again and got drawn into the modeling world once again another change of heart came. After modeling for the Texas Summer Music Conference, she networked with industry executives, artist, and DJs and realized that she needs to put the modeling down and get to business. After graduating high school early, she left right away to attend the University of Houston majoring in Marketing and minoring in European Studies & Journalism. She also seized the opportunity to intern at one of the "Big 4" record labels during her time in college. Taking all the knowledge she learned, she started her own music publishing company. C.Nichole not only wants to become a successful songwriter like Amy Winehouse, Sean Garrett, Maria Mena, etc.; she also wants to become a successful business woman in all of the behind the scene aspects of the industry. Knowing that she has a long way to go doesn't stop her, she is prepared for the journey.
