About this user
The Canadian National Drill Team, comprised largely of members of the Governor General's Footguards (army reserves) and all dressed in the GGFG ceremonial uniform were part of the Ceremonial Guard based in Ottawa during the 2008 summer season. On top of doing the regular public duties of the Changing of the Guard on Parliament Hill and Sentry duty at the National War Memorial and at Rideau Hall, members of the team worked long hours creating and practicing their drill routines.
Their performances included 8 viewings of the Nova Scotia International Tattoo in Halifax, a performance at the Fort Henry Tattoo in Kingston, and a performance at the Ottawa Exhibition, as well as the previously mentioned daily hill mounts.
