What is your recession story of struggle, triumph or defeat?

Just a year after the financial collapse that sent the world's financial markets and economies into a tailspin, prognosticators have declared the 'Great Recession' over. Average Americans likely won't see much difference in their financial outlook anytime soon, though.

In the midst of it all, some are giving up, some are getting by and some are, perhaps surprisingly, getting ahead.
