HISTORY:

Cardozo Senior High School is a secondary school at 13th and Clifton Street in northwest Washington, D.C.,in the Columbia Heights neighborhood.During the 1970's and 1980's, Cardozo's marching band was one of the best in Washington, DC, and won several band competitions. Due to their enormous popularity, the band was invited to participate in the Rose Bowl Parade in 1981.Cardozo Clerks Marching Band,Is widely known for its signature marching style And Unique Sound.The School Of Cardozo Went without a Band For About 20 years but then in The Summer of 2008 An alumni And Former Member Of north carolina A&T marching Machine By The Name Of Mr.Wesley Hoover Took on The Huge responsibility Of rebuilding One Of DC's Finest Marching institutions from scratch .Though In it's Third Year Of rebuilding The Band Still has 85 Musicians, and auxiliary dedicated to Being The Best Band.
