@JensenAaron oh yeah, totally aware...but the 10 he contributed out of the 100 tracks or so are nowhere near as good as Mitsuda's themes. They work for the game of course but don't stand out as anything special. I don't think anything here is by Uematsu.

@jmoneyreiter yeah, but lets get real here...shy and humble would never work in a cartoon...the hero is always cocky and charming and cool which this link is. He's cocky in a lighthearted and fun way just like in disney cartoons.

they need to create a streets of rage 2 HD remix exactly the way they did with street fighter wih online play too....i'd pay $50 for it easily!!!

@fl2kac that would be epic but seeing as they were ps1 and not ps2 era graphics they'd have to be remade...and i'd support it as long as they were left unchanged except for smoothing, etc.

Hey guys....I just want to say that this racing game infected me like no other ever will. Many memories were made with ridge racer. This soundtrack is the soundtrack to every racing game for me....i refuse to play any racer if i don't hear THIS music. That's how great of an impact it was for me.

@Nismology5 yeah, but youtube the rr4 soundtrack and be treated to some of the best music, no.....it IS the greatest fucking soundtrack a racing ame ever had. It will never be topped.

what happened to you, ridge racer??? used to be the king of racers before gran turismo existed. it was my favourite and the last time i bought a ridge racer game was rrv on ps2's launch....it was no rr type 4 but still, the last good ridge racer game. rr4 is still the best racing game on ps1.
