About Me:
Recently, she has just won the Mississauga Future Stars Grand Champion 2010. She was the 2008 Grand Champion of the first ever "Young Asian Canadian Singing Competition" and was also the "CNE Rising Star" Junior Grand Champion and Solo Vocalist Champion for 2005 and 2006. Candace also won the "Jolina Magdangal Sing-Alike Contest" judged by Jolina Magdangal, herself. She was also the FCT Filipino Singing Idol Champion in 2004 and the CPO Filipino Singing Idol Champion in 2005.
In 2009, she competed at the "World Championships of Performing Arts (WCOPA)" in Hollywood representing Team Canada against talents from 52 countries. She garnered 4 gold medals for gospel, opera, contemporary and a favourite industry award. 1 silver medal for broadway and 3 best overall plaques for opera, gospel and contemporary.
Her acting debut last year was the lead role in "Amahl and the Night Visitors" produced by City Centre Musical Production. She was also in the highschool production of "Romeo and Juliet" presented at the Living Arts Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. On the other hand, Candace has also peformed for a few famous artists in the Philippines, such as; Roselle Nava, Renz Verano, Asin, Ai Ai De Las Alas, and Jolina Magdangal. Candace also had the privellage to perform and share a stage with one of the best, well known composer/ artist in the Philippines, Mr. Jose Mari Chan.
