soul girlie,
enjoyed so many different soul clubs around the country prior to the commercialisation of our beautiful very special music by the Casino etc only a few months after it opened as a northern soul venue. Would love especially to re-communicate with any of those that established this scene that were left outside, or like me quit scene then in loyalty, or in disgust at it's demise & what was becoming of it! I post my N.S. tracks purely to wake up the memories of those that were there, and as examples of what were and will always remain pure original soul of that pioneering era prior to mid 70's when it was commercialised & profits began to run the show!

Would also like the history of music to be recorded accurately, and credit given to those no longer alive that deserve the fame & historical mention & NOT as some that now try like vampires to make money out of it would have liked it to be!

Please note that my interests like my taste in music are extremely diverse. I do NOT belong to ANY political party or to any covert conspiracy group/organisation/religious belief. Just a very ordinary woman here that believes in freedom of speech & human rights, and who is spiritual in her own way. Have lived long enough to know that since 9 11 this world has very conveniently for some, lost many of those channels of freedom I cherished but despite no respect for politicians anywhere, I have immense respect for our military forces.I believe I owe it to them to concern myself with what's going on and have an opinion, not least when my soldiers etc & innocent men, women and children are dying for causes the democracy i am a part of advocates. I also have a big sense of humour about myself & others and tend to see humour in most things and also have an appreciation of global diversity and conversing with others strong enough to care and have opinions, and who also value freedom .. so many have previously given their lives for us to have.
