Briefly speaking, I'm kind, generous, loving, and a true geek at heart. I love to read, probably just as much as I might "obsess" (and I use the term loosely) over my hair. Overtime, through a variety of videos, you'll learn more about me as life teaches me a little more about who I myself am as I evolve.

Last year I chose to discontinue the heat styles that have caused me damage. I chose to do it permanently. This was in August of 2009, and I have successfully attained a full year without a straight style.

For a long time I thought that I was increasingly beautiful with straight tresses. I wasn't comfortable with my curly hair because it was unmanageable, uncooperative, and there wasn't anything pretty I could do to it; I found it quite annoying.

At some point in the "hair game," my hair began braking; I found split and thinning ends everywhere. My hair was at its ultimate unhealthy state.

The reason I am here is to share with you my techniques and home remedies. Several New Yorkers, especially passengers on the bus and train ask me what I use and how, but to review everything that I do with my hair becomes a tedious account of what I've self-taught and learned from others in the past year that I've achieved healthy curly hair. I even had to go through the extreme of cutting off up to 5 inches to remove the damage caused by heat.

I love realistic fiction novels. I enjoy writing which was a direct result of reading so much at a young age. As I evolve, learn more about myself over the years, and reach nearly all my endeavors, I'd like to use my experiences to write a Realistic Fiction novel. I like to yarn, though I have not excelled at it YET. I love self-teaching myself to do several things, and though an old friend taught me the beginnings of knitting, it led me to making a few personal creations. With the help of YouTube, visual tutorials, and so forth and so on, I've been able to develop my own pieces. I have a grand appreciation for Art and worldly music. I'm not bias, nor "stuck" in my generational trends. I acknowledge the influences prior sounds have had on our ears today and look back to the roots of our musical expressions for serenity and love. (Needless to say, I am not a fan of musical blurbs that include the belittling of women.)
