The Gold Rush Champions is a volunteer chapter of Canine Companions for Independence.We are a group of volunteers who come together to support the mission of Canine Companions from the Sacramento Valley of California historically known as the Gold Rush area and the Reno Basin Area.
Canine Companions is a non-profit organization whose mission is to serve the needs of people with disabilities by providing trained assistance dogs and continuing support to ensure the quality partnerships.

The Gold Rush Champions are volunteers who support CCI's mission with their time, special skills, and dedication. Our members include Puppy Raisers, Breeder Caretakers, Graduate Teams and Volunteers. We hold fund raising events and public education activities in addition to supporting each other in our efforts to volunteer for Canine Companions.
